Patient Insurance Billing

Piedmont Medical Supply is contracted with most commercial insurance companies and federal plans including Medicare and Medicaid. We work with insurance companies to verify insurance coverage and file insurance claims.

We accept assignment on claims and notify you of your financial responsibility prior to receiving services. Additionally, we will appeal denials made by insurance companies and work with you to make sure affordable payment options are available when equipment is not covered.

Our qualified billing professionals will ensure timely verification of benefits, answer patients’ questions regarding their insurance benefits, and maintain confidentiality.

Delivery, Setup and Pickup

A Piedmont Medical Supply representative will contact you to deliver all necessary equipment directly to you. Our certified fitters will provide instruction on the proper use and application of your equipment. After you receive your equipment, we will monitor your progress on a regular basis and address all your questions and concerns. When your recovery is complete, Piedmont Medical Supply will contact you to coordinate pick up of your equipment.

Monthly Supply Services

We deliver supplies to our customers on a monthly basis. We are a NC CAP/DA Waiver provider and can provide specialized medical supplies such as incontinence products, enteral formulas, lift chairs, diapers, and much more.

Custom Rehab Technology

We have a RESNA Certified ATC on staff to help create a custom power or manual wheelchair to help you regain or continue your independence. We will work with your doctor, therapist, and other healthcare professionals in order to collect the documentation needed to get your custom chair covered through insurance.

Professional Fitters

We have certified fitters who will help you to get fitted properly for lymphedema garments, breast prosthesis, and mastectomy bras.
